All chemicals and reagents are of analytical grade unless there are specific descriptions. The Astragalus membranaceu roots were purchased from Beijing Tong Ren Tang Co., Ltd (China). The crude astragaloside IV (ASI), standards of ASI, cycloastragenol-6-O-β-D-glucoside (CMG), and cycloastragenol (CA) were purchased from Sichuan Weikeqi Biotechnology Co., Ltd (China). The crude CMG and cycloastragenol-3-O-β-D-xyloside (CMX) were prepared from ASI, as reported previously (Cheng et al. 2020). | ||
